Position # 1 -- Landscape Foreperson - Project Manager
- Landscape Sales
- Maintaining knowledge of inventory in nursery fields
- Determine access for large tree moving equipment on potential projects
- Showing clients inventory in nursery fields
- Meeting with clients regarding tree transplanting or tree installation
- Ensuring projects are completed in timely manner
- Client communications
Your must have a CDL Class A or B with no major incidents on your driving record in the past 3 years, this is a requirement of our insurer. In addition, You must be able to climb ladders to 14' in height and have good tensile arm strength to assist in the tie-downs of large trees for shipment.
- Knowledge of tree species is absolutely preferred
- Experience in operating any kind of hydraulic or other landscaping / construction equipment is also preferred
Applicant must provide Motor Vehicle Record for prior 3 years at time of interview and I-9 documentation prior to job commencement.
Position #2 - Landscape Laborer
Landscape Laborer job responsibilities include: Assist Project Managers in transplanting and installing large trees on projects. Laborer will perform ground work such as placing soil and mulch around newly transplanted trees. Laborer will stake large trees when necessary. Laborer will act as spotter for the equipment to maneuver in nurseries and on jobsites. Laborer will assist in loading large trees for tractor trailer shipments out of state, basically this consists of tie-downs and tarping. Laborer will mow / weed trim the Greenwoods office area and one nursery field adjacent to the office.
It is a must to have a clean driving record in the past 3 years, this is a requirement of our insurer. Insurer requires no DUI's, and no multiple offenses for the same issue (example: speeding). In addition, it is a must to be able to climb ladders to 14' in height, have good tensile arm strength to assist in the tie-downs of large trees for shipment and to be able to lift 50 - 75 pound bags of soil and mulch.
Landscaping experience preferred, but not necessary. Applicant must provide copy of Motor Vehicle Record for prior 3 years at time of interview and I-9 documentation prior to job commencement.
